Our story - The kitchen and the calendar
Every dish at Marigold Table starts with a conversation between the chef and the farms within driving distance of Austin.
The restaurant opened in spring 2019 on South Congress Avenue. From the first service, the kitchen has worked on a rotating seasonal calendar, building each menu around what Texas farms deliver that week.
The dining room seats twenty-eight. That size is intentional. It keeps the kitchen connected to the room and lets the service team learn names, preferences, and anniversaries.
Marigold Table is not trying to be the most ambitious restaurant in Austin. It is trying to be the one you return to most often.
